This Remington manufactured first variation receiver and matching trigger guard with both guide pins are for the model 12 slide action rimfire rifle and is in good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with scattered surface rust specks and light wear. The first variation receiver is designed for the early model ejector spring. The receiver is the only part on the model 12 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
